At the end of February, I travelled down to Blackthorn Fishery in Oswestry for my first session of 2019. After what started out looking like a blank, I slipped the net under a lovely 23.10 mirror, followed by my first 40 the following morning; a colossal fish known as ‘The Warrior’ at 40.02. I’ll run through my tactics for this session as well as give a recap of the last few months with a behind the scenes look into the OTBT brand.
