Depths range from 4ft to 10ft, with under-water plateaus and visible features in the form of 4 islands, two in each of the North and South bays.
The Northern half of the lake can be fished from our North Lodge with it’s double swim suitable for two anglers, and our Original Log Cabin with it’s single fishing peg.
The Southern half of the lake accommodates our South Lodge with a double swim suitable for two anglers, and our East Lodge, nearest the car park and suitable for less mobile anglers, with it’s single level-access swim.
There are 3 other pegs on the western edge of the lake that are for our members only (we generally only allow 1 of these to be fished if the North and South lodges are booked). If these pegs are empty lodge guests can use these for stalking during daylight hours.
Pegs are spacious, bounded by logs, covered in gravel and have excellent drainage, to ensure they stay clean and dry. Each is accessible via a gravelled path that encircles the entire lake, making transport of your gear from the car park stress-free.
